Drive-By love

On the NPR program Fresh Air music critic Ken Tucker has kind words for the latest work by the Drive-By Truckers. Tucker says:
Brighter Than Creation's Dark, is one of their best-written and most enjoyable yet — a mix of Southern soul, Brit-invasion rock, and Texas honky-tonk in a time when the notion of regionalism in pop music has, except in the hip-hop crowd, all but disappeared.

(PS - On the same Fresh Air episode, the interview of the authors of a new book on the cost of war in Iraq, The Trillion Dollar War, is worth your time as well.)
